Over the fire that broke out at the popular Bodija International Market yesterday, Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has visited the scene to sympathize with victims who lost their properties to the incident.

Recall that this reliable online newspaper ‘Eagle’s Sight News’ reported in a breaking news that inferno gutted the Bodija Plank Market.

According to an update shared on the official social media handles of the Governor after visiting the scene on early hours of Wednesday.

The statements reads,

“Earlier today, we visited Bodija Plank Market to inspect the level of damage caused by the fire incident yesterday. I commiserated with traders who lost goods and directed that an immediate palliative of N25 million be given to them. I also informed them that the Ibadan North Local Government Council would rehabilitate Bodija Market inner roads.”
