In a resounding display of solidarity, residents of Ward 12 in Ibadan North Local Government Area gathered en masse to endorse the candidacy of Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade for the chairmanship position under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

 

The campaign event, held yesterday, witnessed fervent support for Olufade’s vision for the local government, coupled with commendations for the incumbent House of Assembly member, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, for his distinguished representation.

 

Ward 12, renowned as one of the largest and most influential wards in Ibadan North, played host to the vibrant campaign trail, reflecting the strong bond between its residents and their elected representatives.

 

The event kicked off at the MRS Fuelling Station in Bodija Market, where stakeholders from various sectors convened to express their backing for Olufade’s candidacy.

 

Amidst the sea of supporters, Hon. Babajide Gabriel’s record of quality representation echoed loudly, eliciting cheers and commendations from the assembled crowd.

 

In his remarks, Hon. Babajide Gabriel urged the residents of Ward 12 to extend their unwavering support to Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, emphasizing the importance of continuity and effective governance.

 

He highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects and pledged to collaborate closely with Olufade to ensure the community’s needs are addressed comprehensively.

 

Prayers were offered, invoking divine guidance for the success of the campaign and the welfare of the community.

 

The Director-General of Olufade’s campaign, Falana Adebowale, presided over the proceedings, facilitating introductions by party leaders and stakeholders.

Market leaders, including Alhaji S.a Jimoh and Alhaji Muniru Bolaji, articulated pressing demands such as road repairs, fire service provisions, and infrastructure maintenance, underscoring the essential role of governance in enhancing livelihoods.

 

In his address, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and vowed to uphold the legacy of quality representation set by Hon. Babajide Gabriel.

He assured residents of his commitment to addressing their concerns and implementing beneficial initiatives.

Olufade also introduced the councilorship candidate for Ward 12, Hon. Sulaimon Ajao fundly called Moolight, highlighting his dedication to serving the community and urging voters to support him alongside the PDP’s chairmanship candidate.

The campaign garnered further momentum as it traversed through Bodija Market, UI Road, and Agbowo, where fervent prayers and expressions of support reinforced the community’s endorsement of Olufade’s candidacy.
