The Oyo State Governor ably represented by his Deputy, Barr Bayo Lawal on Saturday 29th April 2023 graced the 15th Convocation Ceremonies of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomosho Eagle’s Sight News reports.

The convocation passed out and conferred different higher degrees and doctorate degrees to a total number of 1962 Postgraduate students

According to the report gathered by our correspondence, the occasion was graced by Top Dignitaries and Government Officials among which include the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, Oyo State Commissioner of Education, Barrister Rahman Abiodun Abdul-Raheem Raheem,Oyo State House of Assembly Members, reputable monarchs from the southwest Nigerian and other public figures.

The Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal while delivering his speech on behalf of the State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, Makinde commended the efforts of the Governing Councils for making the occasion a special one, appreciating all the dignitaries for gracing the occasion.

The state governor also congratulated the graduands for their outstanding performance and used the occasion to thank all the residents of Ogbomosho for their support in the last concluded election.

Other Public Figures decorated with Honorary Doctorate Degrees the CEO of Bova’s filling station, Mrs. Victoria Agboola, retired military personnel, Mr Adigun, and a well-known ambassador of Nigeria from Adamawa State.
