Yemi Alade Reveals Secret to Avoiding Controversies in the Entertainment Industry

Nigerian music sensation, Yemi Alade, has shared her strategy for navigating the often-treacherous waters of the entertainment industry without getting caught up in controversies. The “Johnny” singer revealed that she achieves this by simply ignoring negative opinions and focusing on her life.

Speaking at the listening party for her new album, “Rebel Queen”, in Lagos, Alade explained her approach to handling criticisms. “I don’t think about it [negative criticisms] too much. I’m just living my life because it’s only one life I’ve,” she said.

The singer emphasized her commitment to maintaining a positive outlook, stating, “Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me, I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions.”

By adopting this mindset, Yemi Alade has successfully avoided getting entangled in controversies and maintained a reputation as one of the industry’s most level-headed and focused artists. Her latest album, “Rebel Queen”, is a testament to her dedication to her craft and her ability to rise above the noise.
