As a result of her goodwill for her constituency and to bring the dividends of democracy to Ibadan North and advance women democracy in her locality and beyond, the Oyo State House of Assembly candidate for Ibadan North Constituency1. Hon(Dr) Olufunke Comforter AdeniyI Olajide participated in the 2022 International Republican Institute’s program themed ‘Empowering Women Leadership in Nigeria’ .

The program was organized to empower women leadership across Nigeria.

The program was all female candidates campaign management and women democracy network to empower the women to lead.

Eagle’s Sight News understands the program which took place in Abuja for 3-day, revolved all female candidates across the 36 States in Nigeria.

According to our research, International Republican Institute is a network which aim at advancing democracy worldwide.

It is non-profit, non-partisan organization, IRI advances freedom and democracy worldwide by developing political parties, civic institutions, open elections, democratic governance and the rule of law.

The institute ‘IRI’ for close to 30 years, has been helping to spread democracy through trainings by volunteer experts from all over the world on political party and candidate development, good governance practices, civil society development, civic education, women’s and youth leadership development, electoral reform and election monitoring, and political expression in closed.

“Women are the full circle and within them are the powers to create Nurture and transform.” An adage says:

This special program held in Abuja for 3-day was specially organized to add more knowledge to women most especially female leaders, politicians and candidates on policy driving campaign, working with the media, good leadership
good governance practices amongst others.

Among others top women dinitaries and women politicians that graced the training includes , Oyo Assembly candidate Dr Olufunke Comforter, Atiku’s daughter ,Marian Atiku and the PDP women national leader,Prof. Stella Effah-Attoe

Comforter in her contribution during the event charged all the women to integrate there political strength to the coming election 2023

The Oyo State House of Assembly candidate for Ibadan North Constituency1 Comforter has not for once relent to ensure any opportunity ahead of 2023 general for work well for Seyibayo second term and restoration of the lost glory in her constituency.
