Video: Why the Police Cannot Arrest Crossdressers in Nigeria – Police

In a shocking response, Police Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, disclosed reasons why crossdressers in Nigeria cannot be arrested or prosecuted. Officer Adejobi made this known during an interview with a channel some weeks ago.

Eaglessightnews has gathered that in the interview, the PRO was asked about the verdict and action of the police against crossdressing in Nigeria, particularly with regards to individuals like Bobrisky, James Brown, Jay Boogie, and others.

Reacting to the question, Officer Muyiwa Adejobi stated that certain cases are difficult to ascertain. Citing a rape case as an example, he explained that there are countless elements that need to be proven, and failing to prove one of them could result in a case being dismissed in court. He added that it is impossible to arrest someone you want to prosecute without having valid evidence against them.

He further stated that crossdressing is not illegal in Nigeria, to the best of his knowledge, but allegations against crossdressers are based on natural offenses and require credible evidence to be prosecuted.
