UPDATED:Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s Car Somersaults On Abuja Airport Road. [What Actually Happened]

Eagle’s Sight News has gathered what actually happened about the news by some channels that the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Car summersaulted on Monday.

People’s gazattes had earlier reported that the car summersaulted. Contrarily, in the medium updated news, it has been clarified that VP Osinbajo stopped his convoy to rescue people who had been involved in an auto crash along the airport road on Monday morning in Abuja.

Mr Osinbajo and his security aides were joined by other Nigerians to pull the victims from the vehicle, Peoples Gazette learnt. A witness sent in a video from the scene, initially saying the crash was the vice president.

It was not immediately clear the severity of the accident on the victims involved.

The statement reads:

OSINBAJO NOT INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT

This is to notify the general public that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the leading APC presidential aspirant, was not involved in any accident this morning.

Vice President Osinbajo was on his way to Owo, Ondo state over the dastardly terrorist attack of yesterday when his convoy met an accident scene on airport road, Abuja. He immediately stopped his convoy and asked his ambulance to take the victims to the hospital and report to him on the state of the accident victims. He immediately proceeded to board his flight to Akure.

His media office would issue a comprehensive statement very soon.

Mr Osinbajo’s spokesman Laolu Akande also added and said the vice president was on his way to Ondo on a condolence visit and has proceeded on his trip.
