Sokoto Governor, Tambuwal Replaces Fayemi As Nigerian Governors’ Forum Chairman

The Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has emerged as the new Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.

He takes over from his Ekiti State counterpart, Kayode Fayemi.

Fayemi transferred the baton of office to the Sokoto Governor on Thursday at the National Economic Council meeting in Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

The Ekiti Governor will on October 16 hand over the affairs of the state to Biodun Oyebanji, who was elected few months ago.Sourced from Sahara Reporter
