Profile of Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, an Aspirant for Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

Oluwaseun Oluwatobi Olufade was born in Ibadan North area of Oyo state in the late 80s to the family of Engineer and Mrs Abayomi Olufade of agbo Ile Eko, Idi Kan, Ibadan. He is a devout Christian, whose track record speaks of his fear of God and humble living. He is a father, husband,  successful entrepreneur, politician and philanthropist.

Education:
Oluwaseun Olufade attended Richmab International School, Ring Road, Ibadan for his elementary and primary education. He then furthered his secondary education at Sunshine International School, NTC Road, Ibadan, before relocating to Lagos with HIS uncle and he completed his secondary school education at, Oxford College, New Oko Oba, Agege, Lagos.

His passion for politics made him proceed to Leed City University, Ibadan to study Politics and International Relations.

Career Life:
Oluwaseun Olufade believes the private sector is a critical arm of the economy, and an enabling factor for job creation and development, both at home and in diaspora. He is a major stakeholder in different companies ranging from Real Estate, Automobile and Agriculture. Mr Oluwaseun Olufade is the Chief Executive Officer of Infinitative Farms and Infinitative Automobile Company (a company that deals with importation and sales of cars across the globe). He is also into advertisement and publicity business and he serves as a partner at Big L Marketing Company. His businesses chain extends to the United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates as a Realtor at Project Management Service, Dubai. His business acumen was inspired by his parents and uncle in the United Kingdom who are equally renowned and successful business owners.

Interest in Politics:
Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade’s Interest in politics was first ignited in the days of Late Chief Lamidi Adedibu, whose children were his childhood friends and attended same school with him at that time and sees how their late father and gladiator of Ibadan politics harness responsibilities of elected and appointed party men in giving back to the people. According to him, politics depicted service to humanity.

His sojourn in he business world and engagements in developed countries gave him the hope that things can equally get better and perfect through his participation in politics and passion for the common good of the people, starting from his Federal Constituency. Since he became fully active in politics in 2015, he said the calm and determined nature of Gov. Seyi Makinde inspires him alot. In the year 2019, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade vied for appointment as Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government. In 2021, Honourable Olufade was in a keen contest to emerge as the People’s Democratic Party PDP candidate in Ibadan North for the local government elections, but the dream was not actualized. In 2022, Olufade is in the race to clinch the party’s ticket and to win the 2023 National Assembly seat.
His political mentor remains Gov. Seyi Makinde, and His Excellency’s style of leadership remains a great motivation to him. He believes with the help of God, he has all it takes to be victorious in the primaries, as it has been affirmed that it will be a smooth process, free of imposition or manipulation.
