A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, Honourable Abayomi Olajide has donated a branded bus for use during the re-election campaigns of Governor Seyi Makinde as well as for easy movement of The GSMists members and party faithful.

Royal Umbrella who is the State Coordinator of The GSMists, a brand who build in the legacy of good governance of Governor Seyi has members across the 33 local government of the State.

Royal Umbrella, while speaking about the donation on Sunday, said it was in fulfilment of a promise he made earlier and to ensure better propagation and dissemination of necessary information across the state, there is need for vehicle and he has to brand a bus for such movement.

According to him, the donation is part of his modest contribution towards ensuring victory for the PDP in Oyo State in particular, and Nigeria as a whole in the forthcoming general elections.

He said, “I am donating this bus not because I want anything back, but because I have a special interest in the wellbeing of our party men and good people of Oyo State and to also show to the world that I am a man of my word. I promised to support the government of Governor Makinde and this is the fulfilment of that promise and there is no going back.

The PDP is our party and victory must be collectively sought.
