RCCG empowers petty traders, others
The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Abundant Rain, Lagos Province 109, has empowered some indigent residents.
A statement by the school said that the church gave food items and condiments to over 100 residents, empowered 70 traders, provided free medical outreaches, visited orphanages with food items and empowered women with different skill acquisition programmes as well as provided starter packs.

It added that the gesture was in alignment with the instruction of the wife of the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, that RCCG women should positively impact their host communities, particularly by alleviating their sufferings.
According to the Provincial Pastor’s wife, Pastor Funmi Oke, the Christian Social Responsibility is in line with the 2024 Women in Ministry conference, titled, ‘Women of the Right Hand.’
She explained that 70 traders were empowered at the Igando market with different trading items and goods such as cartons of Gala, packs of soft drinks, and packs of sachet water.
She said the beneficiaries were expected to plow back the money made from the items to boost their business.
“The programme witnessed salvation, healing of the body, soul and mind as well as free empowerment, prayers were rendered for Nigeria for speedy intervention from God to solve her problems,” the statement added.
