Hon. Waheed Akanbi Biiro, former Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government and aspirant for Ibadan North Federal Constituency, has extended warm greetings to Muslim Ummah as they commence the holy month of Ramadan.
According to a statement made available to Eagles Sight News, Biiro urged the Muslim Ummah to uphold the noble teachings of Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of love, kindness, and compassion towards one another. He also stressed the need for religious tolerance during the Ramadan fasting , encouraging Muslims to coexist peacefully with people of other faiths.
In his warmth messages, Biiro writes “As we begin this sacred month, let us remember the values that define us as Muslims: love, mercy, and forgiveness,” Biiro said. “Let us strive to be better versions of ourselves, to love our brothers and sisters, and to promote peace and understanding in our communities.”
Biiro’s message comes as Muslims around the world prepare for a month of fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection. “Ramadan is a time for Muslims to renew their faith, seek forgiveness, and strengthen their bond with Allah” The Ex-Chairman of Ibadan and aspirant for Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon, Biiro added.
