Ibadan, Oyo State – As we continue into the holy month of Ramadan, Hon. Waheed Gbede, former House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North Local Government has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful, PDP party leaders, stakeholders, and the diaspora community.
In a statement made available to Eagles Sight News on Friday, Hon. Gbede urged Muslim faithful to embody the spirit of Ramadan, emphasizing compassion, selflessness, and devotion to Allah. He encouraged the community to use this sacred period to reflect on their values, strengthen their faith, and promote unity and understanding.
“I felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters during this blessed month of Ramadan. May this holy month bring us peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth,” Hon. Gbede said.
He also appealed to the community to remember the less privileged and vulnerable members of society during this period, emphasizing the importance of zakat and sadaqah.
As the former representative of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Gbede reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and development of the community, pledging to continue working tirelessly to promote the interests of the people.
