Ibadan North Chair, Agba Egbe Lights Up, Council Secretariat, Sango Market After Years Of Darkness
After so many years of Darkness, the Ibadan North chairman, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo “Agba Egbe ” led administration has Lights up the Council Secretariat and Sango Market.
50 pieces of solar-powered lights were provided by the local government to lighten areas.

received a breath of life on Wednesday with the beam of the Solar lights. It was reported that the areas have been in total darkness for many years.
It was a celebration galore at Sango market as market men and women could not hide their joy during the commissioning of the solar-powered light by Agba Egbe.
During the commissioning, Agba Egbe said the Light up projects were necessary at this time considering the demands from residents and occupants of the market, which will curb insecurity within the vicinity as it’s generally believed that evil is most perpetrated in darkness.
speaking further, ” the light project in line with the numerous agenda of His Excellency, Gov. Seyi Makinde, will not just be limited to a particular area, but will certainly spread across all the Ibadan North local government.
Agba Egbe thereafter appealed to the market traders to take full responsibility for the project in terms of guarding it against vandalization. He called on well-meaning individuals to embrace community service in their various communities.
In his words, the secretary and political head of Ireopodun LCDA Hon Dele Oladoja reiterated the commitment of the present local government administration in fulfilling its mandate to ensure that all residents especially those in Irepodun LCDA get access to light up. He stated that the commissioning was a landmark and significant achievement toward curbing insecurity within the LCDA
Appreciating the government, the Babaloja of Sango Market, Chief Azeez Mustapha said he was excited that the light-up project was executed during his tenure as the Babaloja of the market and therefore gave his assurance that the traders will fully support the administration of his excellency governor Seyi Makinde and that of the local government chairman of Ibadan North.
Present at the commissioning were, the Political Head and Secretary to Irepodun LCDA, Hon. Dele Oladoja, the acting HLGA of Irepodun LCDA, Dr. Mrs. Dele Busari, The Councilor representing Ward 8, Hon.Yemisi Ogunkeyede, Supervisory Councilors, Community Heads, Elders others.
