There are some people who had died several years yet their good works live and are equally brought to memory lane. Most importantly, when you scrutinize the role some good and special mothers play and contribute to lives. Hence former first lady of Oyo state hosted all and sundry and top dignitaries to the 50-yeat remembrance and Fidau prayers for her late mother, Mrs. Asimowu Omowanwa Apinke Akinyosola who died 50 years ago.

In this spirit, the Oyo State House of Assembly Elect, Hon (Dr) Olufunke Comforter, Adeniyi Olajide, the elected Honourable Member representing Ibadan North Constituency1 joined a host of other top dignitaries to grace the 50-year remembrance and Fidau prayer hosted by the former first lady of Oyo State, Her Excellency Mrs, Mutiat Ladaja for her late mother, Mrs. Asimowu Omowanwa Apinke Akinyosola who died 50 years ago.

The Event which took place at Ode oloo, Opposite Ecwa Church, Ibadan North Local Government axis on Sunday 2nd of April thrilled a mammoth Crowd as political juggernauts, religion clerics, Government Appointees, both Federal House of Representatives and State House of representatives elects and other top dignitaries graced the occasion.

Among the top dignitaries who graced the occasion include, Oyo Deputy Governor, Barr Bayo Lawal, PDP Deputy National Chairman, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo & Delta States, His Eminence Dauwd Makanjuola Akinola, Dr. Omoloolu Olunloyo, Onpetu of Ijeru, Oba Sunday Oladapo, League of Imans & Alfas led by Chief Imàm of Ibadaland, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakri Agbotomokekere, Members of CAN.
