A frontline hopeful who is also a chieftain under the People Democratic Party (PDP) Oyo state chapter has paid a courtesy visit to the 42nd Olubadan of Ibada land Oba, Senator(Dr) Olalekan Balogun, Okunade II.

In a report sent to eaglesighttnews, the state house of assembly hopeful Hon Olufunke Comforter said,

” It’s no longer news that the city of Ibadan has welcomed a new era, a new dawn with the ascension to the throne of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan; Senator(Dr) Olalekan Balogun, Okunade II.

“As a good daughter of the land and an Oyo State House of Assembly Hopeful, I Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi Olajide paid a courtesy visit to felicitate with the new king and was in the company of other great women in the party including PDP chieftains; Hon. Helen Adebakin, Hon Ramata Agberemi Dabo and Hon Bimbo Fafowora.”

Hon Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi Olajide and her team “Olutunu de..” meaning the comforter has come were gladly welcomed by the king as well as the queen and were greatly blessed by the kind words and prayers. There were discussions on how to move the city and the state at large forward and emphasises on women inclusiveness was made, and with no doubt the city and the state as well as the nation at large will experience growth with the ascension of the new Olubadan.
