Oyo State Government on Saturday via the Ministry of Youth and Sport announces application for the Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative of the United States Consulate
This is disclosed in a statement shared by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Engineer Seun Fakorede (MSE).
The statement reads,” In the 23rd of March 2022, I shared about our potential partnership with the United States Consulate’s Carrington Fellowship as part of the efforts to strengthen the Youth Development Agenda of Governor Seyi Makinde.
“It is public knowledge that the Oyo State Government is keen on keeping the teeming youth population engaged in securing a better future and economy for the State and the country at large — based on the foregoing, I held a strategic meeting with the President of the Carrington Fellowship Network (an initiative of the US Consulate), Olusola Owonikoko to discuss collaborations and how our Youth can leverage on the productive agenda of the Fellowship.
“Today, I’m happy to announce that application for the Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative of the United States Consulate is open for residents of Oyo State. Information about eligibility and how to apply is on the e-flier. Deadline is on the 30th of July.”
