Mbappe, who holds the record of the highest-paid football player in 2022 was dethroned by his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.

It was just a day ago that he was the highest-paid footballer, but now there is a new footballer in his place.

Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr announced the signing on Friday, as per ESPN. The 37-year-old will receive $214 million per year, making him the highest-paid footballer in history.
