Makinde Visits Olubadan Designate Dr Lekan Balogun

Oyo State governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, has paid homage to the Olubadan-Designate, Senator Lekan Balogun, ahead of his installation as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland

Recall that Eaglessightnews had earlier brought to you that the Olubadan  installation has been scheduled to 11th March, 2022 in a letter approved by the state government through a two-paragraph circular endorsed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Dr. Bashir Olanrewaju, on Tuesday February 22.

The schedule of the installation came up after Gov Makinde, had on Monday February 14 approved the nomination of Balogun as the 42nd Olubadan, following his nomination by the Ibadan kingmakers.

The visit came up a day after the governor approved the date for the installation ceremony of the Olubadan designate Dr Lekan Balogun as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland at the residence of the Baloguns at Alarere, Off Ibadan-Ife Road, Ibadan, on Wednesday.

Senator Lekan Balogun, whose appointment was approved by the Oyo State governor on February 14th, would be coronated March 11, 2022.
