A group supporting and mobilizing for Seyi Makinde’s Good Governance, named “The Pathfinder” has frowned bitterly to a filtering rumour that Oloye Jumoke Akinjide is plotting to take back Ona-Ara LG from Governor Seyi Makinde.

In a release made available to newsmen, The group alleged Hon. Muhammad Abiodun Fadeyi, the Deputy Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly of planning to orchestrate unrest and chaos in Ona-Ara LG by masterminding false allegations. The group stated that Chief Mrs Jumoke Akinjide has no hand in the current selection process of local government chairmen in the state. The group further clarified that Oloye Jumoke Akinjide has never for once stands against the good governance of Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, and doesn’t have any hidden agenda or planning to take Ona-Ara Local Government, Infact, Oloye Jumoke Akinjide was seen during the last governorship campaign in the local government campaigning for re-election of Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde.
Also in their release, the group denied it as a baseless and fabricated lies, that the authentic and recognised leaders like Hon. Mosobalaje, Hon. Ogunremi Mufutau and Alhaji Chief Adurodekun are working for Oloye Jumoke Akinjide. Everybody knows that these leaders are men of impeccable characters and their loyalty to Engr. Seyi Makinde and the party is undiluted
The group therefore call on His Excellency, Engr, Seyi Makinde to as a matter of urgency call Hon. Fadeyi to order, so as not to dent his good image by causing unrest and chaos in Ona-Ara Local Government, which has been enjoying peace and development before now.
Furthermore, the group warned that Fadeyi should steer clear from trying to impose a non-indigene as council chairman with the plan of squadring resources of Ona-Ara Local Government and also pocket whoever emerges
On a final note, ‘THE PATHFINDER GROUP ‘ made their stand known that they are good governance advocate group and all they want is good governance, peace and development.
