Labour Strike Paralyses Oyo State Secretariat, TUC Confirms Nationwide Blackout

Eaglessightnews reports that protesters have  stormed the Oyo State Secretariat on Monday  as the labour strike gained momentum over the minimum wage dispute between Labour and Federal Government

The Trade Union Congress (TUC) confirmed a nationwide blackout. In an exclusive interview with Eaglessightnews. while speaking with TUC Chairman in Oyo State, Bosun Olabiyi, verified the shutdown of the national power grid.

When asked about the implications of the shutdown, Olabiyi stated, “When people are not at work, we don’t expect the power grid to be working. It’s not just the power grid; airports, government parastatals, private sectors, and others have also been shut down.”
