Bobrisky Remanded in Alagbon Police Custody after failed attempt to flee Nigeria

Controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky has been remanded in Alagbon Police custody after failed attempt to flee Nigeria. Eagle Sight News has gathered.

According to a recent report gathered on Vanguard Cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, spent Monday night at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) annexe in Alagbon, Lagos.

Bobrisky was earlier arrested by officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service while the cross-dresser was trying to flee the country through Seme Border a,t 1:30 am midnight.

The crossdresser has been taken to the FCID since Monday night by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) following his arrest at the Seme border.

There were also indications that he may spend Tuesday night in detention to allow detectives to investigate his arrest.

To this effect, sources told Vanguard, the FCID would get a remand for his detention. A statement on Bobrisky’s detention is expected to be released by the FCID today. Sources at the FCID said, “Yes, he was brought here yesterday night (Monday) by the NIS, where he spent the night. We are going to get a remand today.”

A spokesman for the NIS, Kenneth Udo, officially admitted Bobrisky’s arrest at the Seme border, describing him as “a person of interest. In keeping with its commitment to securing the borders, the NIS intercepted Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, at the Seme border over an attempt to exit the country.

“The service wishes to inform the public that Okuneye is a person of interest over recent issues of public concern. He is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action. The service assures the public that it will continue to be civil and professional in its statutory responsibility of manning the country’s borders.”
