INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD:”A World Without Girl Is As Impossible As A world Without Water” Says Comforter

As the world celebrated the international day of the girl child yesterday the PDP candidate for Oyo State House of Assembly Ibadan North Constituency1 Hon(Dr) Olufunke Comforter AdeniyI Olajide has pointed out some importances of the girl child.
“A World without girl is as impossible as a world without water.” Comforter Says.
A report forwarded by the Comforter ‘Olutunu Dee Media Team’ to EAGLESSIGHTNEWS reveals that Comforter, while visiting Bishop Onabanjo High School Bódìjà yesterday enlightened the students on importances of girl child to the society and good governance in Oyo State most especially the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde to continue his good works in the state.
The report also it that comforter there after gifted educational materials to students and the students were so grateful.

“A little girl with dreams becomes a woman with vision. There is a misconception that girls are second class citizens. This is far from the truth and the truth must be told. A girl child has equal rights as the boy child and should be given every opportunity to explore.
“These and many more were the fine thoughts of Hon Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi Olajide as she addressed the female students at Bishop Onabanjo High School Bódìjà, Ibadan. The school principal and the vice principal were so glad to receive the team that came with Hon Dr Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide inclusive of another female OYHA Candidate for Ogbomoso constituency, Hon Bisi Oluranti and some party excos includung the Vice chairman Hon. Mustapha Ademuyiwa who doubles as the D.G to Olufunke Comforter Campaign team, the women leader for Ibadan North, Hon Nwachukwu Julian, the youth leader for Ibadan North, Hon.Oladipupo Oladimeji and all Apex and media crew of Hon Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide.
“Hon Dr. Comforter emphasized on the need for the second term of His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, stating that his continuity will do a lot of good to education in the state because he will be able to continue the good works he has started.

“The students were so glad to have been imparted and were so thankful for the gifts shared including textbooks for the Senior secondary students SS3 to be used as they prepare for external examinations like WAEC, JAMB e.t.c and sanitary pads for the other secondary students.

“The society through cultural inclinations have in certain ways suppressed the potential of the girl child , domesticating it but the narrative must change. We must build their confidence and encourage them to be more expressive.
“No doubt, it is our collective responsibility to give the girl child the attention, care and love she deserves and work together for her happier life because when building the girl child, we are building a Nation.”
