Hajj:”I’m Vindicated …” Adanla Reacts As Odidi-Omo Finally Visits Oyo State Pilgrims, Splashes 5m •••Insists On Apology….commends Odidi-Omo for retracing steps…insists on apology from groupThe Turaki Adini of Oyo State Engr Abduljelyi Karheem Mogaji Adanla has smiled at the recent move of Hon Stanley Odidi-Omo a PDP member of the House of Representatives for finally retracing his steps by visiting the Oyo State Pilgrims in their hotel.
The Ibadan Chief, Adanla speaking to Eaglessightnews from Saudi Arabia on Saturday explained that he has no grudges with Odidi-Omo as he was not the only dignitary/office holder present in Medina but rather called out others too in love.

It would be recalled that the Muslim leader, Adanla earlier on Friday 30th June commended Makinde’s administration for providing good treatment for the Oyo State Pilgrims and also hailed Makinde’s Deputy Bayo Lawal, Former first lady of Oyo State Governor, Mutiat Ladoja, Sunmonu, and others for their show of support to the over 1400 pilgrims from Oyo state at the ongoing Hajj. However, Adanla also frowned at some political officeholders, who are supposed to reciprocate this kind gesture but felt more magniloquent and not showing the expected support as members of the same Muslim community for the Oyo pilgrims in Mecca.

In a recent reaction by the renowned Ibadan Chief , forwarded to newsmen , Adanla, commended Honourable Stanley Odidi-Omo on his repentance step and appreciated those who stood by him to make the truth known. He however, insisted on a deserving apology from the sponsored group who identified themselves as Islamic Group, Oneness, Truth and Unity(OTU) over the earlier bizarre statement published on Friday 30th June 2023 tarnishing his image.
In a full statement forwarded to Journalists on Saturday 1st of July, Mogaji Adanla writes:
“Alhamdulilahi I am vindicated!I thank God that vindicates me after the news spreading online suggested, odidi omo finally visited over 1400 Pilgrims from Oyo state and donated 5m to ease their suffering. I’m happy that my egbon the member representing Ibadan Southwest and Northwest finally listened to my innocent advice to emulate the deputy governor of Oyo state Barrister Bayo Lawal, the former First Lady of oyo state Alhaja Monsurat Sunmonu and others who stick to the over 1400 people from oyo state and see their welfare as a priority.
“I have no problem neither do I have grudges with the House of representative, Hon Stanley Odidi-Omo as he is not the only political office holder here in Saudi that fails to show love to the pilgrims, I was only surprised how some people loyal to him took and resulted in blackmailing me but at last God wins.
“I thanked family friends and well-wishers who stood with me during the 72 hours and made it clear.
” I equally call on the Islamic group to apologize or face legal action as I no longer accept people assassinating my character. I would want this to send a signal to others that may want to embark on such in the future.”
