The report is coming after the Oyo State House of Assembly has ordered a comprehensive investigation into the activities of the state-owned Pace Setter Transport Services (PTS).
In the findings uncovered to Eagles Sight News, the group investigated claims of false allegations, including the absence of a legal framework governing PTS’ activities, as well as reports that the Sole Administrator, Dr. Oladeji Salami Ibrahim, had recruited 106 additional staff without proper authorization.

According to the statement, “Under the leadership of Hon. Dikko Salami, PTS is no doubt gaining attention from people as one of the most dependable transport systems in the state to transport goods or visit loved ones for just ₦28,500.”
The report highlights several achievements of PTS, including the use of a card system to digitize its operations and the enrollment of young people into the system.
The investigative journalists also praised Governor Seyi Makinde’s investment in the transportation industry, which has enabled PTS to transport over 50,000 passengers daily.
However, the group questioned why the Sole Administrator of PTS would be the target of coordinated attacks instead of praise for his efforts.
The report concludes with a statement from the investigative journalists, who wonder if the attacks are perpetuated because Dikko is firm and transparent, or because he is not a man of “Free-For-All-Largesse.”
