Eagle’s Sight News authoratively reports that the Ibadan North Constituency1 People Democratic Party’s Candidate , Hon (Dr) Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi Olajide has gallantly defeated her counterparts ,APC, Accord, others to emerge the Winner of Oyo State House of Assembly election in Ibadan North Constituency1.

Ibadan North Constituency 1 consists of Six wards, that is ward one to ward six. Comforter a female candidate of People Democratic Party has gallantly floors others counterparts from ward one to ward five ,and also shared the remaining votes in ward six with the oppositions, hence scoring the highest numbers of vote from ward one to six.

Confirming this in statement by the INEC Returning officer Prof, S.O Ajitoni , he stated ,

“I Professor S.O Ajitoni hereby certified that one, I am the returning officer for 2023 Ibadan North 1 State constituency election held on 18th of March 2023.Two, the election was contested.Three, the candidates received the following votes.

” Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi Olajide of the PDP received 16,601 votes, Salaudeem Mustapha Lanre o of the APC received 7687 votes and the Accord Party Candidate, Inaolaji Nurudeen received 2465 votes.

“Having certified the requirements of the law, that ,Olajide Olufunke Comforter of the Peoples Democratic Party ,PDP is hereby declares winners of the House of Assembly ,Ibadan North Constituency1”
