7000 Successfully Screened SUBEB Teachers to Receive Employment Letter this Month-Oyo Govt Gives Full Details
Oyo State Government has confirmed that 7,000 shortlisted primary school teachers will receive their employment letters this month. This development follows the successful completion of the recruitment process.
According to Oyo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Prince Dotun Oyelade, the 7,000 successful candidates were selected from the 46,000 who sat for the computer-based test. “The 7,000 new teachers being recruited is more than the 5,000 Secondary School Teachers the Seyi Makinde administration employed in his first term,” Prince Dotun Oyelade noted.
Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, Executive Chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), emphasized Governor Seyi Makinde’s commitment to fulfilling his electoral promise. Adeniran stated, “In fulfillment of his electoral promise and the yearnings of the people of Oyo State, occasioned by the gap of Teachers in our public primary schools, Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the recruitment of 7,000 teachers in our public primary schools.”
Additionally, 100 caregivers will be employed for special needs schools, addressing the critical need for support in these institutions.
The recruitment process aimed to be fair, credible, and transparent, with Adeniran urging applicants to avoid falling prey to scammers and instead direct inquiries to the Board.
With this development, the Oyo State Government reaffirms its dedication to enhancing the education sector, providing opportunities for thousands of teachers, and improving the learning experience for students.
