Akeredolu Has Been Indisposed But Not Dead – Ondo Govt Clarifies[Photos Speak]]

Ondo State Government has urged the public to disregard the viral rumours over  the purported  death of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu. Eaglessightnews has gathered.

Recall that our medium , reported the death rumours that went viral over the indisposed condition of the Governor.

The Commissioner for Information, Bamidele Ademola-Olateju, however clarified  the report in a statement. Banidele  said  that the governor is alive and has been attending to state matters while also delegating state functions.

48 hours ago rumour of the demise of the governor had taken over the social media space.The  situation has created apprehension in the state.

The statement reads:

“We have been inundated with calls and messages concerning the state of health of the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON. We had chosen to ignore this wicked fabrication until it appeared that certain people sought to draw political mileage from the disinformation.

“Though the Governor has been indisposed, he has been attending to state matters and delegating functions to functionaries of the government when necessary.

“We enjoin the members of the public to ignore the rumour. Aketi is very much alive.”
