BREAKING[INSECURITY]: Ex-Presidential Candidate, Omoyele Sowore Allegedly Shot In Action During Protest By Police NG [VIDEO & PHOTOS HERE]

The Ex-Presidential Candidate,Omoyele Sowore and the founder of Sahara Reporters, activist Omoyele Sowore has allegedly been shot by a Nigeria female police officer at the Unity Fountain in Abuja during protest.

Eaglessightnews confirmed from sources that the activist sustained an injury from the shot and has been rushed to a hospital for medical treatment. See photo.

Contrarily to this incident the information gathered from leadership news has debunked the shooting of the activist by Nigeria Police. The Nigeria Police Force said the convener of Revolution Now, Omoyele Sowere, was not shot by the police as reported in some sections of the media.

Reaction from a human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, who wrote on Twitter that “the criminal officer is said to be an ACP. I watched Sowore being shot live on Facebook”.

“This is what Nigeria has been turned into under Buhari. They’ve declared war on the Civic Space.”

The general public has reacted and condemned this unduly shooting on the activist. Says ” this is uncalled for and human rights violation”
