OYOWMA Boss, Hon. Biiro, Felicitates Governor Makinde and Wife on Akure Chieftaincy Titles
The Chairman of the Oyo State Waste Management Authority (OYOWMA), Hon. Waheed Akanbi Biiro, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and his wife, Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, on their installation as the Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.
In a statement made available to Eagle’s Sight News on Friday, Hon. Biiro described the honour as a reflection of the Governor’s character, leadership, and service to humanity.
“This is a well-deserved honour for a man who has shown what it means to lead with integrity and compassion. Governor Makinde continues to set an example of what public service should be,” Biiro said.
He also commended the First Lady for her quiet but powerful impact on the lives of women and families across Oyo State.
“Her Excellency is a symbol of strength, grace, and genuine care for the people. Her work speaks louder than words, and this honour confirms that,” he added.
Hon. Biiro expressed confidence that the traditional titles, bestowed by the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, would inspire the First Family to continue raising the bar in leadership and service.
“The recognition from Akure is not just a title—it’s a call to do even more. And I trust that both the Governor and his wife will continue to make us proud,” he concluded.
The ceremony took place on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Deji’s Palace in Akure, with dignitaries and well-wishers from across the region in attendance to celebrate the honour.
