Oyo Lawmaker, Hon. Comforter writes a glowing tribute as former Oyo Governor, Dr. Omololu Olunloyo Dies

I am deeply saddened by the passing of His Excellency, Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo, the former Governor of Oyo State, who left us today, just days shy of his 90th birthday. As a statesman, mathematician, engineer, and renowned technocrat, Dr. Olunloyo left an indelible mark on Nigerian public life.

Dr. Olunloyo’s remarkable journey was marked by his commitment to excellence and service. He served as the Governor of Oyo State from October 1983 to December 1983 and later became a chieftain in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State. His leadership and vision continue to inspire many.
