Benedict Akika: Investigation Begun ” Police Confirm Abductions of Makinde’s Ally in Ibadan

Ibadan: The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of Makinde’s Ally, a Chieftain of the People Democratic Party , Benedict Akika.

This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday by Oyo Police spokesman, Adewale Osifeso, who confirmed the abduction, said investigation has commenced into the matter.

Osifeso States: “Investigation has commenced into the matter. Updates will be provided accordingly, please.”

Earlier , Eaglessightnews reported that Benedict Akika was whisked away by unknown gunmen at his resident in Olurunda Abba, Idi-Ape -Akobo Metropolises in Ibadan on Wednesday Evening.

Confirming the incident to Eaglessightnews by the Omituntun Benedict Foundation media advisor , the media arm disclosed that the incident i was so unfortunate and the safety of their founder demands immediate attention .

The foundation also called for immediate intervention by the authorities and urged the public to pray along for Akika safety.

Oyo Police spokesman, Adewale Osifeso, who confirmed the abduction, said investigation has commenced into the matter.
