IBADAN ROYALTY MOURNS: Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe Passes Away

Ibadan, Oyo State – Eaglessightnews reports that In a shocking turn of events, the Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe, has passed away after a brief illness.

His demise comes just 12 days after the coronation of Oba Olakuleyin as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland.

According to sources, Oba Adebimpe’s last official outing was at the unveiling of the new palace of Olubadan at Oke Aremo in Ibadan North local government area, where he represented the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin.

Notably, Oba Adebimpe was absent at the coronation ceremony of Oba Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, held at the Mapo Hall, fueling speculation about his health.

The details of his transition are still sketchy, but his passing has sent shockwaves through the Ibadan royal hierarchy and the community at large.
