Oyo Govt Opens Portal For Recruitment Of 7,500 Secondary School Teachers, 3,000 Non-Teaching Staff

Oyo State Government Announces Massive Recruitment of Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff

Ibadan, Oyo State – Eaglessightnews reports that the Oyo State Government has announced a major recruitment drive for the post-primary education sector, aimed at enhancing the quality of education in the state.

According to Pastor Akinade Alamu, Chairman of the Oyo State Post-Primary Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), the government plans to recruit 7,500 teachers and 3,000 non-teaching staff.

This recruitment exercise is a follow-up to the 2021 exercise that saw the employment of 5,000 teachers. Interested candidates are advised to apply online as the portal will only be open for two weeks.

He commended Governor Seyi Makinde for approving the mass recruitment exercise and assured the public of a transparent and credible process, in line with the World Bank’s Global Partnership on Education (GPE) guidelines.
