According to an unconfirmed updated sighted from oyoeyewitness , eaglessightnews gathered that Oyo state governor,Engr Makinde has been listed among few public figures to be named after street in Abuja.

This is just as Municipal council has unanimously endorsed the Executive Governor of Oyo state , Engr. Seyi Makinde as being among few eminent Nigerian leaders and personalities to enjoy the distinct honour of having a street named after them. Oyoeyewitness.ng,reports.

According to the information from the AMAC street naming and house numbering office and obtained by Oyo EyeWitness, the letter partly reads:

“Your endorsement was purely based on personal merit, hence in recognition of your outstanding contributions and commitment to laudable infrastructural development in Oyo state and FCT-Abuja”

“The intent behind the naming of street after achievers is to memorialize their efforts and to promote awareness of the individual and to express appreciation for their special contributions to the nation building “

This recognition from the FCT is another impetus to further confirm the many recognitions that have been given to the Governor.

Recall that The Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde has been widely recognized as a force among his peers through many of the laurels he has received from far and near which cut across almost all sectors of the nation including the traditional sector ,the most recent being his appointment by the Asemawe of Ondo kingdom as the “Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom”
