Adetiran died at 74 after he battled with an illness.
His demise has been confirmed to EagleSighttNews by some members of the Celestial Church of Christ specifically in a facebook post shared by the current HOD of the Music Technology Department Ibadan Poly Dr Rotimi Olaosebikan.

Adetiran according to source has battled with several diseases: hypertension, prostrate cancer and diabetes since 2018.
This was disclosed to the public when the NYSC General Brig, Gen Shuabu Ibrahim visited Adetiran when he was alive with a high powered delegation of the scheme at his resident at Ibafo in Obafemi Owode Local Government in Ogun State .
The Brig Gen then, promised that Adetiran’s photograph would be placed in the newly built NYSC museum in Abuja

Adetiran studied Music at the University of Nigeria Nsuka.
His contribution to Nigeria music has made him a music jugarnault.
He was one of the frontline pioneer of the music technology department ibadan poly. He served has head between 2003 and 2007. He however in the same institution around 2008 served has the Dean faculty of Business and Administrative Studies where he retired.
One of his composition includes the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) anthem which he composed while he was still an Oyo serving Corp in The Ibadan Polytechnic.
He has composed several musical piece which would be updated later in a comprehensive biography of the late musicologist.
