Oyo:OYSIEC Presents Certificate of Return To Elected LG Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen

Following the conclusion of the Local Government Election in Oyo last month , Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) has presented certificates of return to the chairmen and vice chairmen-elect of the 33 local government councils in the state who emerged winners in their respective local governments.

The Chairman of the Oyo state Independent Electoral Commission OYSIEC, Aare Isiaka Olagunju in his rematks congratulated them and called on the newly elected chairmen and vice-chairmen to justify the confidence reposed in them by the people who voted them into power.

While  expressing  his gratitude to God for the successful conduct of the election, Aare Olagunju also recalled that the success of the election was also due to adequate preparations and the enlightenment campaign embarked upon by the commission.

The certificate presentation which was was held at the OYSIEC office in Agodi, Ibadan had its ceremony witnessed by other OYSIEC commissioners, People’s Democratic Party chieftains, and supporters among others. Eaglessightnews reports.
