OYHA 2023 : Renewed Hope and Effective Representation, BGI Assures Constituents
House of Assembly hopeful, Honourable Babatunde George Ige has assured members of his constituency that effective representation where the interest of individual will be protected is the most priority of his aspiration. He made this available to press men when reviewing the activities of Sustainable Development Goals, SDG.
He noted that the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 targets aimed at eradicating extreme poverty in all its forms, promoting economic prosperity, ensuring environmental sustainability, promoting social inclusion and achieving global peace and Security.
His experience and evidence have shown that youths are change makers, critical thinkers, innovators, communicators and natural leaders. BGI acknowledged the concrete arguments and evidences from various perspectives where young and women can achieve a lot through the SDGs programme and he promised to build on the foundation of the 17 SDG goals which is to “Reduce Inequality” that is: NEVER LEAVE ANY ONE BEHIND.
He therefore promised not to leave anyone behind in his constituency.
