Nollywood Mourns: Veteran Actor Sule Suebebe Passes On

Veteran Nollywood actor Dayo Adewunmi, popularly known as Sule Suebebe, has died. He passed away early Wednesday morning at a hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Suebebe had been under the care of Pastor Ademola Amusan, also known as Agbala Gabriel, in recent months. The cleric announced the actor’s death on his Facebook page, saying “It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died at the hospital this morning. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”

The actor had gone viral last year after reflecting on his past and admitting to having led a reckless life in his youth. Suebebe’s candid confession resonated with many, and he had since become a symbol of redemption and second chances.

In a gesture of kindness, Agbala Gabriel had provided Suebebe with a new home last year. The actor’s death has sent shockwaves through the Nollywood community, with colleagues and fans mourning the loss of a talented and beloved actor.

Suebebe’s contributions to the Yoruba film industry will be deeply missed, and his legacy will live on through his body of work.
