Makinde Reinstates Appointees Who Lost PDP Primary, Appoints Bayo Lawal As Campaign DG, Others As Deputy DG’s
Eagle’s Sight News confirms that The Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde in a special meeting held on Friday 2nd June 2022 with all aspirants that ran for various postition during the party’s primary in the state has reinstated all political appointees who resigned to contest the at the PDP primary election but lost out.
Makinde while speaking to all candidates on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the Agodi Government House said:
“I have directed the SSG to reinstate all political appointees who resigned their appointments to contest at the just concluded PDP Primaries in the state to be reinstated.”
The reinstatement of all the appointees that lost out at the primary according to Governor Makinde is with immediate effect.
Makinde who admonished all the aspirants that lost out at the PDP primary election in the state stated:
” Nobody should feel discouraged about losing out at the primary. I assure that what is on ground in terms of portfolio is still enough to go round.”
In the same vein, Makinde also used the occasion of the meeting to announce the commissioner for local government and Chieftence matters as Director General for his 2023 campaigns, while Barrister Nureni Adeniran and Barrister Adeniyi Farinto as Deputy Director General for Oyo South and Oyo North respectively.Also , Dikko has been appointed to handle youth and Hon Toyin Balogun will head the women wing .
